Film 14 – Kamares Primary School Cyprus – Messages from the Stars

Standard Modern Greek and English

The children, inspired by the book of “The Little Prince”, traveled to imaginary planets and met imaginary heroes that they themselves created around the book. Each student’s imaginary hero/heroine inspired them to write quotes about life on each planet or inform us about a possible problem they face at their planet. Thus, the script of their digital story consists of quotes. In our film, each student represents his/her hero and recites each quote holding or wearing specific objects that remind them. Finally, each quote conveys its own message about the beauties of nature, the environment, the behaviour, and attitude of people towards the environment as well as other values like friendship and love.

Film 15 – Chung Gang Senior High School Taiwan – Silent Cry

Languages: Chinese, English

The reason we chose this theme initially is because all members of our group have a deep love for animals, and stray animals perfectly fit the theme. So, we called the institution of the animal shelter to arrange a visit to better understand the living environment of stray animals. In addition to introducing the environment inside the park, we also mentioned in the video the current situation of stray animals in Taiwan and the difficulties they face. We also hope that through our video, we can urge everyone to adopt instead of buying, and cherish every life!
