| PROTEGER NOTRE PLANETE Poème écrit par Clémentine Caron Notre planète, il y en a qu’ une, Et on peut y vivre, pas comme Neptune. Ou allons nous nous réfugier, Quand on l’aura ravagé? Nulle part, Ça, c’est vraiment un cauchemar. C’est le seul endroit ou la vie est possible, Donc rendez-vous disponible, Pour sauver notre Terre, avant son agonie, Dites-le à vos familles et vos amis. Arrêtez de voyager en voiture et en avion, Essayez de rester dans votre région. Réduisez le plastique, Ça serait vraiment fantastique. Eteignez la lumière en sortant d’une salle, Baissez votre chauffage central. Couvrez vous bien dans la maison, C’est pour une bonne raison. Achetez des aliments bio, Trop de viande, ca c’est idiot. Faite ca pour sauver les animaux, Sans eux, ce n’est pas rigolo. Stop à l’eau en bouteilles, y’en a au robinet, Fabriquez vos emballages de cadeau en papier. Faites poussez pleins de plantes, Les abeilles seront contentes. Créez un composte ou il y a de la place, Si vous faites ça, vous serez un as. Fabriquez une ruche dans votre jardin, Ça plairait toujours a quelqu’un. Si vous faites ce que je vous ai écrit, Alors je vous dis un grand merci, Car vous allez sauvez les autres et vous, Merci d’y être allé jusqu’au bout!!! |

| PROTECT OUR PLANET Our planet, there is only one, If you damage it, it’ll be gone. Where would we stay, When it is away? No-where, Because no-one took some care! It is the only place where we can live, So please give all the help that you can give, To save our Earth, before it is too late, Spread the word to family and mate. Stop travelling by car and plane, Make the Earth happy again! Try to reduce buying things in plastic, To make the Blue Planet feel fantastic! Turn off the light when you exit a room, This would avoid any kind of doom. Turn down your central heating. Put on a jumper and get eating! Buy Organic food to eat, And do not buy any meat! This can save our animals on Earth, Making more mothers give birth. Do not buy bottled water and drink from tap, Use fabric to make your own gift wrap. Grow plants to make the air clearer, To attract little insects nearer. Make a compost in any free space, This will bring a smile on your face. In your garden, create a beehive, This could help the Planet survive. If you do and sahrea all those things above, I will give you all my love, As you are about to save others, me and you, So I would like to say a big thank you! |

Er ist der einzige Ort, an dem wir leben können, Also bitte gebt viel Hilfe, Um unserer Erde zu helfen, Sagt es euren Familien und Freunden. Stoppt die Reisen mit dem Auto und dem Flugzeug, Um die Erde wieder glücklich machen. Versucht wenige Dinge in Plastik zu kaufen, Damit sich der blaue Planet fantastisch fühlt. Schaltet das Licht aus, wenn du einen Raum verlässt, Dies würde jede Tragödie vermeiden. Schaltet deine Zentralheizung ab, Und ziehe einen Pullover an. Kaufe Bio-Essen, Und kaufe kein Fleisch, Dies kann unsere Tiere auf der Erde retten, Mehr Mütter zur Welt bringen. Kauft kein Wasser in Flaschen und trinkt aus dem Wasserhahn. Nutzt Stoff, um Geschenkverpackung zu machen. Lässt Pflanzen wachsen, um die Luft sauber zu machen, Um kleine Insekten näher an zu ziehen. Mache einen Komposthaufen auf einem freien Platz, Dies wird ein Lächeln auf dein Gesicht zaubern. In deinem Garten, erstelle einen Bienenstock, Dies kann unserer Erde helfen, zu überleben. Clémentine’s commentary on her poems
I wrote my poem on recycled paper to show that many things that we use every day in some way, pollutes our planet, as it needs energy to make it. It also shows that I care about our environment, and I want to protect it. I have stuck green pieces of paper on both sides of the poem, because green symbolizes nature and the environment. On these green pieces of paper, I have stuck small illustrations that I have drawn which show different parts of the poem. I want little children to enjoy the poem too, by looking at the drawings and thinking about how we can save our environment. | J’ai écrit mon poème sur du papier recyclé pour montrer que beaucoup de choses qu’on utilise chaque jour polluent la planète, car elles ont besoin d’énergie pour être fabriquées. Ça montre aussi que je veux prendre soin de la planète et que je veux la protéger. J’ai collé des moreceaux de papiers verts sur chaque côté du poème, parce ce que la couleur verte symbolise la nature et l’environnement. Sur ces morceaux de papier, j’ai collé des petits dessins pour montrer différentes parties du poème. Je veux aussi que les petits enfants apprécient mon poème, en regardant les petites illustrations et en pensant comment on peut sauver notre environnement. |

I was born in France and moved to the UK when I was four. I have been learning German and English at Europa school for 7 years. I speak English with my friends and I speak French with my family. | Je suis née en France et j’ai déménagé en Angleterre quand j’avais quatre ans. J’ai commencé à apprendre l’Allemand et l’Anglais il y a sept ans. Je parle anglais avec mes amis et français avec ma famille. |
Story about Clémentine
| Once upon a time lived a little girl called Clémentine Caron. Since she had first heard about climate change when she was eight, she had been determined to help. She worked together with her family: the dad made the bread, the mum made yoghurts and Clémentine and her sister made snacks. They also purchased less things wrapped in plastic and took the bus to go to school. She found that it was at first, quite a lot of work, but then, as the family got used to it, it became an everyday thing. When the coronavirus pandemic came, she wondered if people were going to continue to not travel after COVID, as it would help the planet a lot. As Clémentine grew older, she reached Secondary school and she saw a notice saying that there was a Go Ecolo club. She thought that would be a great opportunity to help our Planet, so she joined. Whenever there was an opportunity to help our planet, Clémentine would take part, hoping that one day, our planet would be recovered. | Il était une fois, une petite fille nommée Clémentine Caron. Depuis qu’elle avait entendu parler du changement climatique pour la première fois à huit ans, elle était déterminée à aider. Elle a travaillé avec sa famille pour agir: le père faisait le pain, la mère faisait les yaourts et Clémentine et sa sœur faisaient le goûter. Ils ont aussi décidé de ne plus acheter pleins de trucs emballés avec du plastique et ils ont pris le bus pour aller à l’école. Clémentine a trouvé que c’était beaucoup de travail au début, mais après, quand la famille s’y est habituée, c’est devenu une habitude. Quand la pandémie du coronavirus est arrivée, Clémentine se demandait si les gens arrêteraient de voyager après le COVID, car ça aiderait la planète! Quand Clémentine est devenue plus grande, elle est rentrée en école secondaire et elle a vu un affichage disant qu’ il y avait un club Écologique. Elle pensait que ça serait une bonne opportunité pour aider la planète, donc elle a participé. Quand il y avait une opportunité pour aider la planète, Clémentine participait, espérant qu’un jour, notre planète s’en remettra. |
