Notre Planete (Year 4 Students)

Description of poster

This poster was made by a cohort of Year 4 children in a bilingual school in Central London.
The children began exploring different ideas, illustrating what ‘Our Planet’ meant to them. Drafting and redrafting pictorial representations, engaging in group discussions and categorising the work they produced into key themes.

Their home languages or other languages of interest were then used alongside the pictorial representations  to produce this poster.

The paper used was from offcuts of previously used paper to fit with the reuse and recycle theme.
Languages that the children chose to engage with for this project include: Italian, French, Russian, Japanese, Norwegian, Turkish, Polish, Hawaiian, Latin, Greek, Hebrew, German, Dutch, Spanish and Mandarin.
