Two teachers developed the comic book project with two Year 5 classes in Primary Education (age range 9–10 years) with Brazilian Portuguese as their mother tongue. The institution where the work was carried out is a regular Basic Education school with extended hours for English Language lessons. The entire creative process was completed over three months, from planning the narratives to the final version. For creating the stories in a digital format, the platform pixton.com was used, which offered the students creative freedom without limitations in the artistic aspect.
O projeto de HQ’s foi desenvolvido por dois professores com duas turmas de 5° ano do Ensino Fundamental (faixa etária 9 – 10 anos) que têm português brasileiro como língua materna. A instituição onde o trabalho foi desenvolvido é uma escola regular de Educação Básica, com carga horária estendida para a disciplina de Língua Inglesa. Todo o processo criativo, desde o planejamento das narrativas até à versão final, foi realizado no período de três meses. Para a criação das histórias de maneira digital, foi utilizada a plataforma pixton.com, que ofereceu aos estudantes liberdade criativa sem limitações na parte artística.
