On the Way – Two stories in eight countries

The ‘On the Way’ project at the secondary school ‘Herz Jesu Institut’ in Italy brought together 102 students from eight countries. They worked together on developing stories, artwork, and songs.
First, students in Italy started the stories, drew a picture, and recorded a traditional song. Then, these were sent to partner schools in seven other countries: Liechtenstein, the United Kingdom, Ukraine, Israel, India, Taiwan, and Japan. Students and teachers in these countries added their ideas to the stories and pictures, and some countries recorded their own traditional songs in their languages.
This project includes nine languages: German, Italian, English, Spanish, Ukrainian, Hebrew, Hindi, Mandarin Chinese, and Japanese and their different scripts and alphabets.
This global collaboration celebrates creativity, diversity, and the shared human experience of being ‘On the Way’.
