Films 1, 2 & 3 – Herz Jesu Institut, Italy – Face It – Stay Strong – Not Alone

Our films are about feelings that can change from positive to negative or from negative to positive emotions. They are about anxiety, loneliness, bullying and feeling different as well as acceptance, kindness, care and friendship as a healing power which makes people happy. The message of the three films is that fears and worries can be overcome by the care and support of friends and family members. We collected ideas for a comic, we drew and wrote the story und used it as a storyboard for our films.
Film 4 – K’sirs International School, India – Echoes of Solitude

This heart-warming tale of “Echoes of Solitude’ follows the journey of a young boy named Aadhitya as he navigates the challenges of a learning disability and the loneliness it brings. Struggling in school and feeling isolated from his peers, Aadhi finds solace in the unlikely friendship of a stray dog he encounters in the park. Despite his initial reluctance, the persistent canine remains steadfast in his efforts to befriend him. Through moments of doubt, guilt, and eventual acceptance, he discovers the transformative power of companionship and learns that true friendship knows no boundaries. Join their touching journey of

Film 5 – K’sirs International School, India – Sight of Sorrow

A young girl, Shruthi, who leads a content life with her father is faced with a terrible turn of events. The story “Sight of Sorrow” follows Shruthi’s journey of loss, pain, and resilience. Despite the tragedy, she has a shoulder and music to lean on. Alone in a world new to her, she fights against the odds to find normality. This film has a tornado of emotions and explores a vast array of themes. The question remains. Will she find light in the darkness that surrounds her?
Film 6 – Europa School UK – Lost in the Mirror
Languages: German and English
Our film is about a girl called Eloise who returns to school after the summer holidays and realises that all of her friends are much cooler now. She imagines them turning away from her but then she finds a mirror in the bathroom. When she looks into it, she tells herself to change to fit in more, and she decides to keep the mirror. After buying some new clothes and doing her hair and her makeup, she receives compliments from all her friends. She thinks that it’s helping, but inside, pretending to be someone else is taking a toll.
Film 7 – Europa School UK – Hope

Hello and welcome to our film. We have decided to make our film about bullying, body-shaming, social media and hope because these are all things that affect our generation as a whole. The film is very short and we have included a lot of symbolism into it.
Film 8 – Feng Shan Senior High School, Taiwan – Encounter, Conflict, Understanding: The Employer
Languages: Indonesian, Mandarin, Taiwanese and English
The film tells the story of a Taiwanese employer and an Indonesian migrant worker, presented from the perspective of the employer. It explores their relationship from initial collaboration, through conflicts arising from misunderstandings, to mutual understanding achieved through communication. The film aims to depict the experiences of migrant workers in Taiwan, highlighting the emotional journeys of both parties during conflict and reconciliation. This is a story about love and care, and we hope it inspires viewers to care for their community with renewed hope.
