Hyde Park School is a happy and vibrant school based in South Kensington. Our location in the cultural heart of London allows us to make the most of the riches we have on our doorstep; from daily visits to Hyde Park to days out at the Science Museum and local theatres.
We are a fully co-educational school with pupils from 3 to 11 years. The pupils and the teachers come from all around the world. Therefore, we speak many different languages such as Ukrainian, Estonian, Russian, Arabic, French, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Polish, or Farsi. Children from all faiths and cultures are most welcome and diversity is celebrated here. For that reason, our school is committed to international families and we provide a bespoke education as well as extensive language support for those who are learning English as an additional language. Furthermore, this multiplicity of languages and cultures equally encourages mutual respect and brings a wealth of global experiences which can be shared in the classroom.
We are very pleased to be working with Goldsmiths on this project. Everyone within our learning community has not only very high aspirations, but also we believe in purposeful and exciting learning opportunities for all. We feel that this project will inspire and motivate our students and teachers to negotiate their multilingual identities and value their language repertoires.
